GKN Automotive at Dritev 2025

At the 2025 Dritev congress (DRIvetrain Transmission Electrification Vehicles), an event focused on automotive powertrain innovations, GKN Automotive showcased some of its key innovations and technical rationale behind its latest developments.

With decision makers, experts and industry leaders attending from across the world to discuss developments and challenges in drive technology, the two-day congress saw experts from OEMs, suppliers and universities share insights on a range of trends and innovations.

As the global leader in drive systems, several of GKN Automotive’s experts attended the conference to contribute to this year’s programme:

  • Matthias Kesseler, Senior Technical Specialist Advanced Engineering presented on ‘Disconnect systems in battery electric vehicles’;

  • Arne Berger, Chief Engineer Advanced Engineering shared insights on ‘Driveshaft design for sustainability’;

  • And Andreas Mair, Director of Mechanical Engineering presented on ‘Innovative asymmetric limited-slip differential technology’.

The company’s Vice President of Engineering, Keiwan Kashi, Chief Engineer Product Portfolio, Thomas Altenrath, and Director of Customer Engineering, Andreas Sehr, were also on site, engaging directly with industry peers and other attendees to answer technical questions on GKN Automotive’s world-leading solutions.
