Despite our efforts to maintain the highest standards of ethics and compliance, sometimes things do go wrong.

When they do, it is important that this is brought to our attention so we can deal with it properly and prevent it from happening again.

We therefore encourage a culture of Speaking Up in which we ask all GKN Automotive employees, workers and business partners to report issues of concern.

Other business partners

If you are a customer, supplier or other business partner, we rely on you to tell us if we are not meeting our own high standards of ethical conduct. If you become aware of any potential compliance or ethical concerns relating to GKN Automotive, our employees or representatives, please inform us immediately. All reports will be handled sensitively and raising concerns in good faith will not negatively impact your relationship with GKN Automotive.

Our commitment to information security

At GKN Automotive, the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information are fundamental to achieving our business objectives. We recognise that any compromise of these elements—whether related to IT systems, engineering data, or other assets—could disrupt our operations or expose us to commercial, contractual, or legal risks.

To safeguard our business and stakeholders, GKN Automotive has established robust policies and processes to identify, assess, and manage information security risks. These measures ensure that risks are mitigated to an acceptable level, supporting both compliance and operational excellence.

Our security objectives

We have been awarded Trusted Information Security Exchange (TISAX) labels at a number of our sites and are continuing to roll this out across our organisation. TISAX is a German automotive industry information security assessment aligned with international best practice standard ISO/IEC 27OO1. TISAX provides assurance that a company’s information security management system and supporting controls complies with defined security standards.
