Celebrating 15 Years of Zero Lost Time Accidents at GKN Automotive’s Nagoya Tokoname Operations
GKN Automotive’s Nagoya Tokoname Operations recently celebrated 15 consecutive years without a Lost Time Accident (LTA). This remarkable achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment of every team member to safety, discipline, and continuous improvement.
As part of the celebrations, leaders and employees came together to mark this incredible milestone. The teams heard from several senior executives including Dirk Kesselgruber, Chief Technology Officer; Anthony Bell, VP Operations Asia; and Keiwan Kashi, VP ePowertrain who all highlighted the Nagoya Tokoname Operations team’s dedication to living the principle of “Safety First”.
The achievement reflects the embedded Health & Safety culture that has evolved from compliance to proactive, behaviour-based safety, and the importance of maintaining focus and vigilance every single day. It also reflects the broader journey of GKN Automotive in enhancing safety standards across all sites, from ISO certifications to participation in national QC Circle Conventions.
