Slovenia team volunteer in their communities to fight back against COVID-19
Helping elderly citizens by delivering protective masks and shopping to their homes.
For those that are classed as being vulnerable, the fear of contracting Coronavirus has meant that many people have had to hide in their own homes for months on end, but GKN Automotive’s Slovenia team has been doing all they can to help those in need in their communities.
There has been an exceptionally high number of volunteers from the Slovenia team, helping local fire brigades, acting as first aiders and assisting the vulnerable. The Slovenia team helped elderly citizens by delivering much needed protective masks to their homes and delivered their shopping when they were unable to fetch it themselves. They also installed warning signs in public areas, and many took the time to volunteer to patrol busy public areas to warn others to maintain a safe distance from one another.
