GKN Automotive Achieves ISO 21434 Certification

We are proud to announce that GKN Automotive has been awarded the ISO 21434 cybersecurity engineering certificate by SGS TÜV. This milestone highlights our commitment to state-of-the-art automotive cybersecurity and reinforces our leadership in the global automotive supply chain.

About ISO 21434: ISO/SAE 21434 addresses cybersecurity risks throughout the lifecycle of automotive products, ensuring robust cybersecurity practices are embedded in engineering, manufacturing, quality, IT security, and our supply chain.

Our Certification Journey: Achieving this certification involved a 12-person team over 16 months, conducting a gap analysis to the ISO 21434 work products, creating 44 new procedures, and training over 200 employees. SGS TÜV conducted thorough audits, ensuring our practices met the standard's requirements.
